Our reading and Social Studies series came in them. We seemed to have a bunch laying around in the workroom that no one was using. They are strong, sturdy, and I was sure very useful. I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics and Made it Monday to show you what I did with mine.
I just wrapped the boxes with the colored duck tape first around the top and the bottom, then the gap in the middle was filled in with the pattern.

Oh my word! I love your project! And it just so happens that we have tons of these since we just moved to a different series. What a clever way to recycle and re-use!

The duct tape is a great idea to decorate with! I did something similar with those little boxes. According to the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scales (ECERS) we're suppose to have in each center a few books and writing materials- just in case they want to get creative or read about something in that center. I taught ECSE- centers centers centers everywhere! I grabbed a few of those little curriculum boxes like you used and put a few of those in the centers. I did a few other little cutesy tricks too, but I'll tell you about those another time.
